4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, New Dorp is a good school. Most people there are nice. However, the school does not give the necessary information on gradation requirements. Not many people know that 100 hours of community service is needed to graduate. I did not know either until someone told me. All they said was 44 credits are a requirement. The school should tell you that service hours are mandatory. There are students in 11th grade who do not know about the hours. I mean no harm in this review, I just wanted to bring awareness to this. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the school is good, but too many students in a class, like 32 students, and only one teacher without assistance. Not sure how the teacher can focus on students. Asked few friends from other schools, all classes are around 27 students with a teacher and an assistance. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average..Well, as a former student of 7th-8th grade I didn't exactly have the greatest approach to the students of the school. I am exceedingly shy, and lacked to maintain "healthy" friendships with my peers. Every-so-often I was verbally bullied, (By both students and one teacher) and once threatened. Acts of bullying, however, were never reported BY me. I frequently told my mom how I felt in the school. (Good relationship with my mother.) My mom reported every incident, yet schools never took immediate action (or any action for that matter.) Just because of WHO told them. "This neighborhood is zoned for nice sized lots and so it looks good, not overcrowded like some other neighborhoods. In addition, parking is good and you don’t see cars all over the place. "

"One of the best areas in Staten Island Rapt up with Parks, Sports fields, Running tracks, Tennis courts, Baseball Courts for Adults and Children, Walk for physical activities for all ages and enjoy the beauty of Forest type Nature. It will charm you with breathtaking views from the hill and tastefully build private castles-houses In other words, if you can afford in this area, then this is the place to live, have a family & raise children. This is Todt Hill with the Best Schools close by "
