"Lived here for 30 years, UCSISD great Guadalupe County Schools but still in Bexar County for hospitals and county services. Great Older established community with huge yards and solid homes rock homes. Parks and Recreation areas. We only moved to the country is the reason we left."

"no pools, no parks, no community basketball or outdoor spaces near my neighborhood. kids are always out playing and it is VERY safe. a bit loud next to the road. however for city living we could not have chosen a better area to be in. "

"I’ve lived here for almost 5 years and better than 10 in Schertz and UC is medium ground. The area seems friendly and lower crime. There are many friends and some family here and the San Antonio area. So I wish to stay in this general vicinity."

"Stay clear of close to the base. Stay close to live oak. The closer to the base you get the older the neighborhoods and also the crime rate goes up. "

"I like universal city. We’ve lived in this community since moving to Texas. Dog owners would love the sidewalks and the dog parks nearby. There are leash laws and most people are pretty good about cleaning up their mess."

"I've lived here over 10 years. I like that it's close to everything. I only like schertz, universal city, cibolo, and new braunfels area. We tried the West, and South side, no way. And we are in the middle of everything. "
