"Ski resort with many outdoor activities for summer & winter, including hiking , biking , and dining . Very friendly environment with a lot of welcoming people from all over . Great public transportation as well for all over Steamboat springs . Lots of dining choices in different prices & cuisines . "

"Fairly convenient to downtown unless we are experiencing one of our frequent road closures. As more houses are being built, traffic is getting worse going on and off the mountain due to the fragile and dated infrastructure."

"I live on Carriage Hill and the neighbors are friendly and we actually stop and talk with each other, yards are frequently mowed, neighbors exercise, walking their dogs and picking up after them, yearly bbq for the neighborhood. You occasionally see deer family walking in yards you don’t bother them they won’t bother you."

"I’ve lived here for 32 years. Turnover is low. It’s a great safe place to raise kids. They can walk to school and soccer field or can ride the school bus which is the last stop in the morning and the first in the afternoon. "
