"Tree lined blocks. Friendly. Clean. Well maintained parks. Not loud at night. You can hear the birds in the morning, and watch the squirrels run across the trees. Access to running and biking trails."

"Woodlawn is a great place to live. We all look out for one another. Woodlawn is a hidden Jewel in the Bronx. Great school , close to trains ans buses. Would not live anywhere else"

"I have lived in Woodlawn for 13 years. It is a hidden gem of a neighborhood with the local feel of a small town. Fellow residents look after one another and small businesses flourish. It is safe, quiet and convenient to upstate and the city. Highly recommended!!!!"

"if you want to live in NYC but like it a little quiet at night this has both close to commute lots of options. great school and nice people. clean streets well kept houses people are proud of this community it shows when you walk around Good nitelife restaurant and shops close by. Playground dog park trails for walking and running. safe area close to all."

"I don’t have a dog. I do see plenty in the neighborhood. I know there is a dog park. Most people clean up after their pets. Unfortunately don’t do not! "

"Van courtland park is nearby and an extremely large park to give your dog all the exercise it needs. Whether trail walking, dog only play area or open field playing, the large park offers everything your pet could want."
