"Whitman is off the beaten path, it’s a quiet neighborhood that used to be South Abington and should go back to being part of. It doesn’t have its own school (for a long time now) and so if your a parent with kids and can afford it go to Hanover where the schools are great and there are things to do. "

"Whitman is nice but not convenient it isn’t close to any major highways and makes commuting just a little more difficult but if you are ok with the commuter rail then you’ll be fine "

"we've lived here in the same street Stetson Street for 5 years it's our home my son is acclimated and completely involved with school and sports and it has been my goal to stay in Whitman I and my son love our town. since Whitman is small we enjoy going to the town pool playgrounds we take walks all the time with our dog. I feel safe allowing my son to ride his bike to the town park to play with his friends. My son has been on the swim team he goes to the camp right in Whitman.... we're involved in the community and we again we love it!"
