"It is a great place to live. Country like living within City limits. steep hills make for spectacular views, but limits accessability for walking, and there are no public transit routes nearby. Large homes on large lots. Knowland Park and hiking trails nearby are great if you like outdoor activities. School district seems to be in a bit of trouble, but I have no personal experience with it so can't comment accurately. easy access to freeways. Low crime rates which some might find unexpected in Oakland. "
