5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy main issue with the school is too much unsupervised time where kids have the opportunity to bully and no one seems to do anything about it. My child is bullied mainly on the bus. She says the bus driver plays music so loud she doesn't hear what is going on. A lot also goes on in the lunch room and on the play ground. I don't think the new principal has a clue. "Quiet, safe, vintage village. Older homes (from 1850s) surrounding more modern raised ranch homes. Sidewalks (rare around here!) make for easy walking to local library and neighborhood shops. Good schools and great restaurants/shopping within a 5 minute drive. Easy to get to local Metro North station (5 mins drive). "

"I live in the area. I love the fact that it is a quiet working class neighborhood. There are many historic places nearby and the shopping malls and parks are only a short drive away. The schools are great too! I feel safe too, and that is important to me. The neighbors are friendly too!"
