OVERVIEW

Colonie Terrace Apartments is comprised of 38 two-bedroom apartments in a two-story building. Twenty Percent (20%) of apartments are subsidized under the HODAG program if income qualified. Lights and cooking utilities other responsibility of each tenant. Heat and hot water are included in the rent. For those tenants who qualify, HEAP assistance is available.

There is no fee to apply for housing at Colonie Terrace Apartments. The building is accessible to the handicapped.

It is primarily a 55+ aged community.

TWO BEDROOM UNITS

The two-bedroom units include: living room, dining room, kitchenette, frost-free refrigerator, large bathroom, plenty of closet space (including a large walk-in closet), carpeting, separate thermostats in every room cable TV hook up in both living room and master bedroom, smoke and heat detectors in every apartment, sprinkler system in every apartment, off-street parking.
All the hallways are carpeted and very bright. Pleasant seating areas are in both the front and back of the building. A large patio and picnic area are located at the back of the building, as well as a garden area for all tenants to plant vegetables and flowers. The building and grounds are in packable kept by maintenance staff there is a 24-hour emergency maintenance service available.

SECURITY

The front door is locked at all times. A key is necessary to enter the building, or by the intercom system used by tenant. Each unit has an intercom system and a TV camera to monitor guest, which allows each tenant to screen and speak to visitors before they enter the building. All exterior doors are alarm equipped and are available as emergency exit only. A live-in monitor whose apartment is equipped with emergency and fire panels in apartment, is available to respond to immediately to an emergency.

All units are equipped with three emergency cords connected directly to the office and the living monitors apartment for a quick 24-hour emergency assistance. Smoke detectors are mounted throughout the building in every apartment.
A sprinkler system has been installed throughout the entire building.

ELEVATORS

An elevator is available to assist those who live or visit on the second floor.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

A large laundry room with washers, dryers and a folding table are located on the premises.

COVENIENCES
Bus stop directly in front of building on Central Avenue
Services available to come to your apartment by appointment or: cleaning person, Hairdresser and Barber's.

ACTIVITIES

The community room is available for playing cards, parties, and other get-togethers. It is also available for private tenant functions with advance notice to the management. Bingo is played every Wednesday night.

Landlord pays heat and hot water. No smoking allowed inside of building.
