Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from April 24, 2024
As beautiful as it is practical, this mid-century home designed by famed Architect Charles Du Bois, is tucked cozily into one of Tarzana's most sought-after neighborhoods. Past an enclosed, plush front lawn, enter the mid-century door to a sprawling open concept living and dining room that leads to a covered patio and expansive back yard with fruit trees and drought resistant landscaping. A chef's paradise, the over-sized kitchen offers ample counter space and is surpassed only by the vast amount of storage space offered by the updated cabinetry and additional storage units in the adjoining laundry room. With two on-suite bedrooms, a third hallway bathroom and guest room, this nearly 2,000 square foot home is much larger than it initially appears. The secure, front carport easily accommodates four full-sized vehicles while covering two of them. Just minutes from public schools, restaurants, and coffee shops, this highly walkable home is as connected as it is comfortable.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an exceptional school. I can't rave enough about it. everyone serves a certain purpose to exceptionality. My son attended preschool and graduated. I wish they had kindergarten, as I would hands down keep him there. His teacher was cynthia, she is amazing, warm, intelligent, goes way beyond the call of duty, and my son absolutely adored her to the max, and so I did as well. My son came from a private school, and so at the beginning I skeptical was skeptical, however, I wish he could continue there. Rosana the principle is amazing, always looking out for the best interest of the kids, and staff, she is absolutely amazing. Maria is as well. everyone is loveing and caring, I would highly hands down recomend this school to any child, and consider yourself lucky , having your child in the care of there individuals.Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 18325 Delano St.

What Locals Say about Tarzana

"I think it is important for parents to know that Encino is a very nice place to live , but it also requires diligence to keep it this way as every part of LA has the potential for “petty crime” and issues with the homeless, so it takes a community to solve these issues that do sometimes appear in Encino. "

"They would like the park and the quiet streets The wouldn’t like the rude owners that don’t pick up after their dogs and the lack of sidewalks on some streets "

"It’s close to some bad areas, people drive far too fast for kids to be outside. There are people wandering the streets at night who scream to themselves "

"Has a bus line that is close but the homeless abuse the transportation and It is not always safe however there are other bus lines that are safer to use but they are timed too far apart and don’t always run on schedule "

"I see people walking dogs all the time which is nice. But also I hear dogs barking all of the time. "
- neighbor
- Resident
- 5y ago
"Almost all neighbors have dogs. The barking is beneficial and never any issues too early or too late. Dogs are often walked along these streets, the occasional coyote and raccoons and thieving squirrels that no dog can apparently scare- the coyote issue is rare, i believe most of us haze if we find but they are often too fast, and since displaced by fires and during mating season more are around so people do need to beware at all hours."
