6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disproportionately minority students and caters to kids who are not white and straight. I constantly get messages about equity and inclusion and how I should support it but nothing ever about how to protect all student from the weekly fights that take place between non-white students. The Spanish teacher (chair of the Spanish Dept.) has an LGBTQ flag in her classroom that she took down for back to school night when parents were going to be at the school. The next day, she put it back up. Strange. Seems she’s hiding something. Patents are not made to feel welcome and are questioned at the entrance upon showing ID. I’m surprised they’re not frisked, which is what should be done with most of the students. They also got rid of school security for the 2022-23 school year and fights broke out weekly, if not more, between non-white students. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had very high expectations from Warner but unfortunately was very disappointed. I think the curriculum is standard and about average regarding academics. I think from a social-emotional support experience is where Warner is clearly lacking. While they preach "be kind" it is a very cliquey school where students and their families have known each other for a long time before coming there and unfortunately can be very exclusive to other people who are not part of that clique - including both parents and children but most importantly the children. "No sidewalks make walks very unsafe, some people still walk the blvd but I wouldn’t recommend it as many cars speed up and down and often crash. "

"I would have to say it’s horrible. Very hard to get out of my driveway in the morning. Most people won’t let me out. They drive way to fast and I see at least 2 horrible accidents a year on my street "

"Roads are small and dangerous. Cars speed through neighborhoods. I don't recommend walking, jogging, biking, or walking your dog in the area. Rush hour is absolutely horrible in this area. "

"No sidewalks, but it is pretty serene going south + either way if it’s outside of rush hour. Holmby park is there by Sunset too. Seems VERY Dog-Friendly. ❤️"
