"Mistwood Forest is a quiet family neighborhood in an older development. I love the trees, neighbors walking, jogging, walking their dogs. Located about halfway between Chester and Colonial Heights, all the major stores, mall, movie theater, and restaurants are only 10-15 minutes away. Schools are CC Wells Elementary, Carver Middle and Thomas Dale High School, all good schools. "

"I moved to Chester from NJ 5 years ago. This is a lovely area to live and work. Chester is centrally located to Richmond, Williamsburg, Charlottesville, Virginia Beach, and Washington, D.C. The local airport is clean and very efficient. Almost all of the roads have been repaved, including Interstate 95. Taxes are reasonable and even went down last year due to the economy and housing market (lived in NJ and Europe for many years, and this is the only place I've ever lived where the taxes went down to equal the market and economy)! Everything you need for daily living is within a few minutes ride. People are friendly and as a single woman, I've felt very safe here. Virginia has the amenities of the north, with the charm and simplicity of the south. I'm very happy here."
