"sidewalks are terrible to walk on. down town shopping is not as close as it seems. nothing around the area for children to do. no plave for visitors to park. no entertainment in the close area no community involvement. no public transportation close by. the community seems to keep their yards clean."

  • Trulia User
"Danvers is a suburb with urban feel. By that I mean there is a nightlife in Danvers (Sylvan Street Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, AMC Movie Theaters) without the bad stuff that comes with urban cities, like violent crimes. There is a public school and two private schools here, so, it's a great place to raise family. The town is located at a section where 128 and Route 1 meet, so it's easy to commute to Boston or the metro west. But, the number one thing I truly love about Danvers is it's a shoreline community. I always know my seafood is fresh and beaches are close by. Danvers truly is a great community, you will enjoy living here."
