Description

This all brick, 2-unit building is priced right! Both units are rented by excellent, long-term tenants who prefer to stay but will also graciously move, if need be. Buy it and then rehab it and capture the sweat equity for yourself. In this area, rehabbed, multi-unit buildings trade in the $550,000 range. Live in one unit, or build out the basement and live in it, and rent out the remaining units. Both units have identical floor plans. Each unit features three bedrooms and one bathroom with a sprawling, open concept floor plan. Walk into a large living space: with a formal living room, a formal sunroom and a formal dining room. It is an apartment but it feels like a home. Then head to three spacious bedrooms with ample closet space, and lots of windows for that natural sunlight exposure. The kitchen is large enough space for a four person breakfast table followed by more storage in the rear, enclosed porch. You can also finish the basement for an extra living quarter. The possibilities are endless. Very close to the expressway, countless restaurants, school, shopping and transportation right out your front door. This is an as-is, where-is sale. Conventional OK. FHA OK. Show and sell. Easy to show.

"Safe area. Quiet and not to much going on. Minutes from anything you want to do. Very close to transportation. A lot of parks around for walk dogs or kids to play in. Public pools around the area perfect for the summertime. Streets are regularly cleaned and alleys are not dirty like city alleys. The community really seems to work together to make it a nice clean safe area for anyone to live. There is a lot to do for adults as well. Downtown Jefferson park is alive with restaurants, bars and stores to visit. "

"Great community of working people. It’s in the city and closeish to public transit, but you’ll still probably need your car, the neighborhood is very safe and many first responders live here. The area is cheaper to live in for this part of chicago, but it’s a bit far away from downtown. It’s a great place to grow up and the schools, like Taft, are getting astoundingly good for public schools in chicago "
