"Although it does not have a curb appeal, inside, it is updated and looks very modern. The neighborhood is great and a walk to the park, downtown, restaurants, Metra station and many shops. There are very friendly neighbors. Overall, a great place to live. "

"The Village of Barrington is a beautiful and friendly community that is responsibly run by a fiscally aware Village President and Board. The Village is a wonderful place to raise children, and the Barrington School District is amazing! You can walk to the train from most homes, and be in Chicago in an hour. Quality shopping for just about anything you could need is within a 15 minute drive. Great restaurants in town, and an excellent variety. One of the top places to raise a family in Illinois! I know, we did it!"

"Since moving here from chicago 5 years ago, this is is great for people who want to slow down a bit, Many bike/nature trails close, 5-star recreation and sports facilities, and is starting to cater to the 30-somethings. If your looking for an area close to relaxation, and great for going d0wntown to the city, (metra's best stop on the pacific line), a place near downtown Barrington is paerfect."
