"The commute to downtown Hartford is very easy via the Berlin Turnpike. A car is a must have here in the suburbs, although the state is trying to have more busses come through Newington, which can help with the trip into Hartford. Traffic to/from Newington sometimes builds up, but is normally always moving and doesn’t take more than a half hour into Hartford."

"Exercisers and dog walkers love the neighborhood for its quiet beauty and little traffic. less than 15 min to commute to HTFD. This stately neighborhood was built by wealthy turn-of-the century professionals. Many of the homes have been completely modernized but retain their quality craftsmanship and unique style. Rare to find such beautiful homes on quiet street. One of Newinton's first upscale housing developments. Only 500 homes in town at the time! "
