Description

Very large and well maintained 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom apartment for rent in an age-restricted community (One resident needs to be 55 years older or older). Units are on the ground floor with no units above/below for quiet privacy and ease of access. The units are newly renovated, with additional space added as a semi-enclosed patio for your private outside space (so it works well for smaller dogs). 1040 square feet! Also newly added is an in-unit washer dryer in your own laundry room for your convenience! Located on the corner of 56th Street and University, this location can not be beat. Reserved covered parking space as well. $1620 per month rent, plus utilities (water/sewer/trash is a $30/mo flat rate). HOA dictates one resident in the unit must be 55 years old and up, no one under 18 years old. If they wish, residents also have access to the Dreamland Villa Community Club directly across the street, which offers swimming pools, nature walks, libraries, community gatherings, and events. Be one of the first to live here after recent renovations!
There is also a premium upgraded unit available, with stainless steel appliances, black countertops, and a new white subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. The rate for that unit is $100/month more. Those pictures are below as well.

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for seven years. The rent is cheap. The schools are close. The streets are not very well lit. A lot of people leave trash & old broken furniture on the side of the street & it never gets taken away. Just becomes part of the street. However, lots of fast food places, & places to shop are real close. Variety of neighbors. Not a lot of children around. There is a gas station right on the corner of the street that stays open pretty late, which is a plus. "
