The west side of ANC is fabulous! 5 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from downtown restaurants, coffee shops and shopping and 5 minutes from the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail."

    "Popular, older, established, quiet neighborhood in most desired area of Turnagain, old Turnagain north of West Northern Lights Blvd. Near elementary school. Nice walking/biking/cross-country skiing neighborhood next to Coastal Trail. A lot of vegetation for birds and moose. Only 5-10 minutes to downtown and 5-10 minutes to airport. Easy access to to South Anchorage shopping. Close to midtown shopping and eating out while not a midtown neighborhood. New businesses and remodeled shopping centers nearby but far enough away to be purely quiet residential."
