What Locals Say about Reading

  • Trulia User
"Plenty of dogs in the neighborhood. Very friendly and most neighbors walk with leases. It is rare but being close to the woods and/or highway there are some fisher cats in recent years. Today a coyote was spotted in the neighborhood. Again, that was reported maybe 7 times in 10 years but pet owners need to keep an eye out for the little ones! "

"Reading is a wonderful community to live in and raise a family. I am not an agent, but I live just a block from downtown and Rt. 129. We have two parks within walking distance, can walk to the center/square for the many town events in just a minute or so. The downtown in Reading now has a number of restaurants, 2 pharmacies, and other shops/salons, etc. that you can walk to from that area. Our kids (twins) are 6 and are just going into first grade. The school system is highly regarded, and our experience so far confirms that. "

and I had to call to find out! Plus why are there so LITTLE available Affordabe Apartments offered in such a BIG COMPLEX?? I FIND IT VERY UNFAIR! Who determines that? The Town or the Complex...or BOTH???
