4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my kids attend the school and absolutely love it. There is very strong parent engagement. My kids have made really great friends and they feel like they are a part of a loving, diverse and special community. The teachers work very hard to ensure every child is learning.Parent Review5mo ago - The Math And Science Exploratory School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat community and all, and the counselor is one of the best, but the accusations against me were terrible, as you cant have privacy and some of the teachers were extremely rude and just held outright grudges against students. In fact, one teacher almost ruined my future through an accusation, and she clearly had some kind of problem with me? Even though I’m a pretty innocent and nice kid. Overall, unless you want your future ruined, and face terrible teachers, choose a different school. I’m glad I’ll be out of there in a month, when summer starts.Student Review10mo ago - Brooklyn Frontiers High School

"Good easy convenient options - can get anywhere pretty much quickly. Many trains but super crowded. "

"This is a racially diverse community but very economically exclusive. Wealth is necessary and required to sustain a livelihood, if you’re looking for comfort expect to pay for it. On the other hand, the views are beautiful and the neighborhood is well manicured and quiet for the most part. Most of the commotion comes from visitors, tourists, and acting action. Another frequent sound is that of traffic, depending on your location you might catch an earful. If you’re a foodie then you’re in luck! There is plenty to explore that’s culturally diverse and ranges in price. Great for a date or quick bite. "

"Fort Greene park is amazing. The grass is well maintained, there are two playgrounds, beautiful flowers and tennis courts. Even on weekends it doesn't feel overcrowded. "

"Lots of people out walking dogs at all times. People are generally courteous and give a wide berth, which is nice to see. One downside is that you will be buying your own poop bags. Not many stations with bags, though I think there are some near the waterfront."

"There are a ton of dogs in the area, but no dog park for them to play around. Owners struggle to find space in Cadman Plaza or Fort Greene park, but those areas have to be “off hours” which are inconvenient for folks with office jobs."
