7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has defnitely changed over the years. Since this school was rebuilt, we have seen the academics and sports program just take off. They have a great selection of teachers, their sports programs has really expanded and become very competitive.All 3 of our kids have gone to this school and we could not be more happy with their opportunities and experiences that this school has provided to them.Yes there are a LOT of kids that go to this school, but it is a very large school building - and really in a big school it is a fantastic way to prepare your kids of what is to come in college.Parent Review1y ago - La Costa Meadows Elementary School

They claim to understand the importance of mental health and its connection to academic growth but I have not seen it with the new administration. Staff is supported while the children and their feelings are not considered. "Halloween is insane and so fun. End of school year huge party, Memorial Day 4th of July etc. all holidays are block parties. I would say the majority of homeowners are in their late 30’s to early 40’s with small children. There are kids everywhere. "

"There are lots of households that have dogs & the community (shops, restaurants, etc) is dog-friendly. There are sidewalks throughout & some trails for regular walks with your dog. People seem to welcome your pet & treat them like family when they encounter them on walks and around the neighborhood. "
