"I can’t say I’m not a parent I do own pets though and for the most part Florence is pet friendly don’t recommend for families more then 2 people though "

"Moved from a large state and big city to live in a family oriented down to earth southern town....Florence. I love living here. Houses are reasonably priced, property taxes are better than most cities, schools are good, less traffic, lots of history, beautiful scenery and parks. Florence doesn't offer everything the big cities do. But one can make a day or weekend get away to places like Huntsville, Birmingham, Nashville and many other heavily populated areas. I find living here a lot more relaxing and less stressful. "

"We don’t really have community events but we’re close to Florence High School and several churches in walking distance. "

"There are many potentially dangerous lose dogs. Generally friendly community, if a dog was lost and found the owner is almost always called. "
